My sister's best friend of about, oh, 74 years just got married! Mark and I got to hang out with my parents and Ava at the wedding as well, since they were guests! I'm pretty sure Ava needs a new pair of dancing shoes now. Emilé and Brian were married at the Inn at Woodstock Hill on an unexpected, absolutely balmy and beautiful autumn day. Just as my sister, the first bridesmaid, started her walk down the aisle, a huge flock of singing birds flew right overhead. It was a pretty surreal beginning to the ceremony!
