Planning your Nantucket family portrait session.

We book family portraits midweek only during peak season (June-October). About an hour prior to sunset is best for light on a bright island with reflective sand and water and not much shelter. Our approach to family portrait sessions is casual and lifestyle rather than super posed and stiff. We encourage families to dress comfortably and be themselves. We do book up quickly in peak season, so be sure to inquire as soon as you know your travel plans.

Planning your engagement session.

Your engagement session is a great time to get comfortable around us and our cameras before your wedding day. We prefer to photograph these sessions about an hour prior to sunset, for the best light and for a chance of one of our famous Nantucket sunsets. Weekdays are always best, since we are nearly 100% booked on weekends with weddings this season. Visit our Pinterest board for ideas on what to wear.
