Ok, I'll admit it, we're pretty lucky to live where we live, and to shoot where we live. We have endless beaches, carefully conserved vistas, historic charm and ocean wide sunsets. That's why Nantucket has become the wedding destination for many a visitor.

John met Alexis while depositing his paycheck at a local bank back in 2005. Glances were exchanged, a lunch date was made and before you knew it, Alexis & John were an Item!

Emily and Doug first met in college, but it was not love at first sight. There was apparently a wayward frisbee incident, but we won't go into that here!

Courtney and Chad were married Saturday at the 'Sconset Chapel with their reception following at the Nantucket Golf Club. They had an absolutely beautiful day and a big, fun, yet elegant wedding.

Meaghan and Ryan were married Saturday in an outdoor ceremony at the Westmoor Club. These two crazy kids have been together since high school, for 11 years and they still are so sweet together.

Friday at the 'Sconset Chapel, we photographed the sweet wedding of Sarah & Mark with just their nearest and dearest. After touring them about the Front Street gardens, we headed out to Sankaty Lighthouse for some more photos in the perfect light.

After a lobster dinner and s'mores bonfire the night before at The Wauwinet, David and Ashley were married on the harbor at The White Elephant Hotel on Friday.

Where to begin? First of all, meet my new best friends. This is Tim and James, with whom I totally fell in love with last summer at their engagement session. Tim is a performer in Branson, James is in IT. Tim is outgoing, James is more reserved. Tim is a planner, James goes with the flow. They're both adorable, funny, kind, generous, sweet, loving and loved, fun, fun and fun. The kind of people who you'd love to have as neighbors. After spending the last month here on Nantucket - ahem, move here now, guys.

We had 2 very different weddings this weekend. While Zofia and Walter were out at Whales Watch in Tom Nevers with our newest BFF's Tim and James, Kat and I were at the beautiful setting of the Nantucket Golf Club with Blair and Craig. We couldn't have asked for a prettier day.

Tracy and Jay met on Nantucket 5 years ago through mutual friends who had no idea they were from the same hometown in Connecticut! They both grew up summering on island. Tracy's family has deep roots on Nantucket, as they been vacationing here for over 110 years! Both families spent the entire week prior to the wedding enjoying the beach and getting to know each other to prep for the big event this past Saturday.
