Though running the same circles for a while prior, these two appropriately crossed paths again and the spark was ignited at Chris’s sisters wedding 4 years ago. Soon Chris was flying out from New York to California for their first date. As fate would have it, after finishing her studies out west, Robin was offered a job in New York and moved back east. Chris may have asked Robin out for the first time on Facebook, and he may have taken nearly a year to kiss her – but he was obviously doing something right since Robin said “YES!” to his proposal on her dream vacation in Bueno Aires.
Robin’s mother Susan hand painted their pretty, customized stationery. Their wedding, which many guests described to me as “SO Robin!”, was full of wildflowers and lobsters. The colors were eye candy, from the bridesmaids mix/match chiffon dresses, to the bright centerpieces on the tables. A gospel choir sang beautifully during their ceremony and led all the guests down the road to cocktail hour where they continued to sing for the crowd. Perry Rossi Orchestra had everyone on their feet for hours and hours at the reception. The highlight was Robin and Chris’s surprise, perfect choreographed dance to “Time of My Life”.
These two are so completely in love and are the nicest people you could hope to know. We couldn’t have asked for a more laid back and sweet couple to spend a hot July day with.
