Family is very important to these two. Staci’s brother walked her down the aisle, and her uncle, a pastor, officiated the ceremony. Alex’s father toasted to lost loved ones and led Alex in breaking the glass. Alex’s wedding band is his late mother’s and two rings from Staci, melted down. Staci’s engagement ring was passed down from Alex’s grandmother. Staci’s aunt Denise even gave a speech about a very excited Staci introducing her to Alex when they first met in California. We even snuck in a couple photos with their sweet dog, Toby. Lots of love and close family ties.
The couple chose to not see each other prior to the ceremony, which is how we like it! Instead, they held hands and snuck in a few emotional words of encouragement while on either side of a great big tree.
The ‘Sconset Casino was decorated in pretty pink and white flowers by Jean Cawley. Their escort table was actually hanging frames with place cards attached to twine, which were replaced with photos of the guests as they arrived. Lots of personal touches were seen throughout.
We wish Staci and Alex safe travels and lots of fun as they drive cross country to their new lives as a married couple in California!
