Andrea & Michael were married at a Nantucket residence in an intimate ceremony, surrounded by their closest family, friends and Ziggy the chocolate lab, of course! Andrea’s brother, Lee officiated the ceremony and told a touching story of how they met, managed life through a global pandemic and lived together in an Philly apartment during lockdown and protests. Not to mention tying to complete the task of planning a Nantucket wedding! They met for drinks in the upper east side of Manhattan in 2018 after swiping right, and ended up in conversation for many hours. The rest as they say, is history.
We started the day with a first look and portraits at the house. Then headed out to Lily pond and back to the house for family photos before their friends gathered for pre ceremony cocktails. It was a touching ceremony, personal and loving. Intimate ceremonies always are, they are my favorite for sure! They finished with more cocktails with friends, then sat down for an intimate dinner with family, before painting the town red later! It was a gorgeous day filled with love, and it was a pleasure to photograph this couple again. Congratulations Andrea & Mike!
